Hello PSYB Families,
Skills Assessment will be held on Saturday, August 5th starting @ 10:00 AM
at Powder Springs Park 4000 Lewis Rd Ext Powder Springs 30127.
We are at our largest capacity in years, so we recommend arriving by 9:30am, also please register online before skills assessments.
Be prepared to field, hit and run during the assessment. Please bring gloves, cleats and a bat. This is NOT a tryout. This is just to evenly divide our players and all kids will be placed on a team.
Field 2: Shetland Division (5/6)
Field 3: Pinto Division (7/8)
Field 4: Mustang Division (9/10)
Field 5: Bronco Division (11/12) & Pony (13/14)
There will be NO skills assessment for our Pre-Ball players. REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN GO TO WWW.PSYB.COM
Upon arrival at the park Saturday morning, we will have 2 separate lines,
1.) For checking in the previously registered players
2.) For players who have not yet registered for Fall '23 REC baseball.
PSYB personnel will be there to direct you and your child on where to go after the registration area. We will provide each player with a colored wristband and show your players to their appropriate field for their skills assessment. Each field will have a colored balloon that will go with the player's-colored wrist band. ALL PLAYERS MUST OBTAIN A WRISTBAND BEFORE ENTERING THE FIELD.
Finally, we are excited to announce that the Cobb County PAL Baseball Camp will be hosted at Powder Springs Park. In partnership with Better Baseball and the Atlanta Braves the Cobb County Police Athletic League runs these 2-day baseball camps for boys and girls ages 7-16. Please see the attached flyer for details and how to register for this FREE camp. The kids will receive their own Cobb PAL Camp tee-shirts.
