SPRING ASSESSMENTS FEB 3RD & ACADEMY SHOPPING DAY

Hello PSYB families,

We are looking forward to seeing returning and new players this Saturday February 3rd at 10am for the PSYB Spring 2024 REC skills assessments day. This season will be our largest number of registrants to date, so we are recommending arriving at the park no later than 9:30am to start the check-in process. Assessments will be for the following age groups Shetland (5/6) through Pony (13/14).

-NO skills assessments for our Pre-Ball players. Your teams will be created this weekend, and your coaches will be in contact with you next week.

Below is the step-by-step information needed for this Saturday.

-Be prepared to field, hit and run during the assessment. Please bring a glove, cleats/sneakers and a bat. This is NOT a tryout. This is just to evenly divide our teams. All kids will be placed on a team.

*Field 2: Shetland division (5/6)
*Field 3: Pinto division (7/8)
*Field 4: Mustang division (9/10)
*Field 5: Bronco/pony divisions (11/12) & (13/14)

When you arrive at the park this Saturday morning, we will have 2 separate lines,
1.) For checking in previously registered players
2.) For players who have not yet registered or have not completed registration for SPRING 2024 REC baseball. You can still register your player at www.psyb.com before this weekend.

PSYB volunteers will be there to direct you and your child on where to go after the registration area.

We will provide each player with a colored wristband and direct your player(s) to their appropriate field for their skills assessment. Each numbered field will have a corresponding color balloon that will go with the player(s) wrist band. ALL PLAYERS MUST OBTAIN A WRISTBAND BEFORE ENTERING THE FIELD. If you cannot attend the player skills assessments this Saturday, no worries your child will be placed on a team. However, we recommend, if possible, attend the assessments so the coaches will be able to have a chance to look at each player to divide the teams evenly. We will have tons of volunteers to help the day of with any questions.

-Lastly, we will have some surprise raffles for this Saturday's participants at the check in tables. Don't miss out! There will also be PSYB swag available for sale at the check in tables.
