PLAYER SKILLS ASSESSMENTS SHETLAND THRU PONY 8/3 & PAL CAMP

Hello PSYB Families,

Skills Assessment will be held this Saturday, August 3rd starting @10:00 AM
at Powder Springs Park 4000 Lewis Rd Ext Powder Springs 30127.

We have a larger number of registrants this season, so we recommend arriving by 9:30am. Also please register online before skills assessments. Registration is still open to lock in your spot for Fall 2024. In each age group there are coaching opportunities, also for each head coach there will be a special event during the off season for you to attend.

Be prepared to field, hit and run during the assessment. Please bring a glove, cleats and a bat. This is NOT a tryout. This is just to evenly divide our players, and all registered kids will be placed on a team.

Field 2: Shetland Division (5/6)
Field 3: Pinto Division (7/8)
Field 4: Mustang Division (9/10)
Field 5: Bronco Division (11/12) & Pony (13/14)

There will be NO skills assessment for our Pre-Ball players. REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN GO TO WWW.PSYB.COM

Upon arrival at the park Saturday morning, we will have 2 separate lines,

1.) Shetland-Pinto
2.) Mustang- Pony

PSYB personnel will be there to direct you and your child on where to go after the registration area. We will provide each player with a colored wristband and show your players to their appropriate field for their skills assessment. Each field will have a colored sign that will go with the player's-colored wrist band. ALL PLAYERS MUST OBTAIN A WRISTBAND BEFORE ENTERING THE FIELD.

Finally, there are still a few spots left for the Cobb County PAL Baseball Camp at Powder Springs Park. Please see the attached flyer for details and how to register for this FREE camp. The kids will receive their own Cobb PAL Camp tee-shirts. Details below:
Dates: Wednesday August 14h 6pm-8pm for 7–11-year-old, Thursday August 15th 6pm-8pm for 12–16-year-old. Copy and paste this link into your browser to register.
